CHALLENGE
Photographers always search for new outstanding locations to photograph all over the world.
They don’t want to waste their expensive traveling time in searching for the best locations in the chosen destination.

SOLUTION
“Picktrip” app help the users (photographers) to plan ahead with their complete day of photography trip according to personal preferences.
The app walk them through the day providing a detailed schedule, useful information and itineraries suggestions at destinations.

Picktrip = "Pick" (choose) a trip + "Pic" (Photograph) trip
The logo is associated with the Photography world by using the camera shutter icon and at the same time use the pin icon which represent location.

colors
Dark grey is neutral, and balanced. Also communicates strength and mystery.
Orange is the color of the sun. It’s associated with joy and creativity, warmth and success.

The ancestor of the photographic camera was the camera obscura (Latin for “dark room”).
The “Picktrip” app target user is the photographer, therefore the goal was to create a design based on professional cameras interface: A dark theme was chosen along with a mechanical yet elegance look. Viewfinder and Reversal film element ware used.
